Cecelia Ahern nació en 1981 en Dublín, Irlanda. Saltó a la fama con sólo veintitrés años tras la publicación de su primera novela, Posdata: te amo (Ediciones B, 2008), que fue llevada al cine con Hilary Swank y Gerard Butler en los papeles protagonistas.
