Synopsis

Consisting of three workbooks aimed at children from 1st to 3rd year of preschool, in which the most outstanding principles of recent methodological proposals for preschool education are integrated, putting the cognitive development processes specific to this stage of the child first. Each of the exercises responds to different projects in which the aspects of: number; form, space and measure; and thinking skills are developed, which include the competencies that the student must work and develop gradually. At the end of each of these projects, three evaluation sheets have been integrated: attitudinal, procedural and cognitive to monitor and strengthen the areas of opportunity that should be worked with greater emphasis. The closure of each project will provide both the teacher and the student with evidence of the appropriation of the expected learning that was achieved during the school year. The child will develop the final work in a concrete and fun way and the teacher will be able to integrate it into the evidence portfolio. We hope that this series will strengthen and complement the academic work of preschool teachers, but, above all, it will provide students with a novel and creative alternative to learning mathematics.
