Le travail vise à formuler un modèle d'approvisionnement d'urgence lié aux catastrophes de biens humanitaires, puis à résoudre avec l'algorithme génétique et une approche plus traditionnelle de la programmation linéaire en considérant les données collectées d'un échantillon de travail de secours. Le modèle inclut les excédents et les pénuries de marchandises en tant que variables et l'espace du véhicule comme contrainte. Les contraintes à la demande, l'inventaire minimum disponible, le niveau de main-d'œuvre maximal, la capacité de charge du véhicule, l'espace du centre de distribution (DC) qui affectent un système de distribution de secours directement utilisé dans le modèle. Le modèle détermine et optimise la quantité de fournitures de secours à stocker, les charges à transporter lors de chaque voyage, le niveau de main-d'œuvre requis et le nombre de surplus et de pénuries de marchandises afin que le coût total soit minimisé. Nous avons comparé les résultats obtenus par l'algorithme génétique et les techniques de programmation linéaire. Il est constaté que l'algorithme génétique a de meilleures performances que la programmation linéaire traditionnelle. Enfin, un cadre complet de restructuration du système de transport et de distribution des articles de secours humanitaires est fourni.
