Cancer, an ancestral disease, has fascinating molecular aspects and is still challenging for those Physicians involved in its global treatment.This brief introductory book is destined to those people interested on some of the main biological aspects and on some related-clinical Cancer topics.The molecular biology of this disease is described in all the chapters, and the author also highlights Cancer as a tissue-disease, with critical patterns of behavior for the different Cancer cell populations.The Cancer phenotype carries a chapter, showing that even in a very “genomic era”, some phenotype aspects, are essentials for a better knowledge of what has been the old and what are the new medical treatments avenues.The “cure of the all” is for the next 15 years, when also apart from the novel drug developments, our mind will have "new concepts" of what really is considered as "patient cure" in this complex disease.
