This book is the result of an investigation about Literacy and The Pedagogy of Multiliteracies. This study was made on a 6th Grade Portuguese Language Class, and the aim was to analyse the Teacher’s Conceptions and Practices as the Students’ Concepts and Skills. We conclude with the positive and motivated achievement of the students in the project, which gave us the confirmation that the Pedagogy of Multiliteracies (The New London Group, 1996) can contribute to the students' development in achieving the multiliterate skills required today. Thus, this study has been limited to just opening the door to a didactics to take into account.
