Inclusive education is the need of present time which stands on the principle of 'unity in diversity'. In its broadest meaning inclusive education is an approach that seek to address the learning needs of all children, youth and adults with a specific focus on those who are vulnerable to marginalization and exclusion. Infact, it implies that all learners, with or without disabilities being able to learn together through access to common school provisions and community educational settings with an appropriate network of support services. This is possible only in a flexible education system that assimilates the needs of a diverse range of learners and adapts itself to meet these needs. Its aims at all stakeholders in the system to be comfortable with diversity and see it as a challenge rather than a problem. This book reports a survey results of an investigative study on the level of preparedness of Indian teachers and administrators to use inclusive practices in secondary schools and findings revealed that physical infrastructure and instructional resources are inadequate for supporting learners with special needs. Teachers are insufficiently vigilant about inclusion.
