Synopsis
L'hydrogel, également connu sous le nom de polymère super absorbant, est un type de polymère dont la structure est tridimensionnelle et il est capable de gonfler et d'absorber de grandes quantités d'eau. Une telle absorption d'eau dépend de nombreux facteurs tels que le type de polymère, la température, la pression et d'autres facteurs tels que la densité de réticulation. Il existe de nombreux types d'hydrogels dans le monde. L'un de ces types est le poly (alcool vinylique) réticulé avec de l'aldéhyde tel que le glutaraldéhyde. Un autre exemple est l'hydrogel poly réticulé de méthylène-bis-acrylamide (acide 2-acrylamide-2-méthyl-1-propane sulfonique) (PAMPS).
