Synopsis

In the field of orthodontics, it is imperative to study each case in various aspects before arriving to a diagnosis, which requires the clinician to study and store various data such as lateral cephalograms, study models, photographs and other advanced diagnostic data like CBCT. Therefore, it is essential to understand and utilize the technology available for a successful orthodontic practice. This work discusses the several software programs available in the field of orthodontics, its usage and relevance in clinical practice.
