The author question why the language Departments in state Universities are not making attempt to graduate students ripe for specific language related professions. She further challenges the General English perspective of teaching English to students preparing for a professional career in Cameroon and brings to the lamp light Professional English teaching. This book will be of interest to language teachers who will gain knowledge on how they can redirect their teaching towards the professional language needs of their students.
