Synopsis
Les principales zones de lacunes dans les domaines des études sur les nuages sont la distribution verticale de différents types de nuages, les nuages multicouches et la dynamique associée. À cet égard, le présent travail se concentre sur la compréhension de la distribution tridimensionnelle de différents types de nuages et du rôle de la dynamique de fond dans leur distribution sur la région ISM. Les distributions de nuages multicouches résolues verticalement ainsi que la structure verticale du chauffage latent sont également abordées dans la présente thèse. À l'aide des observations CloudSat, le rôle de la dynamique dans les distributions tridimensionnelles de différents types de nuages sur la région ISM est étudié pour la première fois. En outre, le mécanisme de formation en termes de dynamique de fond pour différents types de nuages est également examiné. En utilisant les observations CloudSat sur plusieurs cyclones tropicaux formés dans le nord de l'océan Indien entourant le sous-continent indien, une distribution composite des types de nuages est construite pour la première fois. Cette étude a révélé quel type de nuages présents dans quelle partie du cyclone tropical. Comme les nuages dans les cyclones tropicaux sont interconnectés avec la dynamique des cyclones et jouent un rôle très important dans sa subsistance et son intensification.
