Synopsis
La gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement est un ensemble de pratiques utilisées pour intégrer les fournisseurs, les fabricants, les entrepôts et les magasins afin que les marchandises soient produites et distribuées en quantités appropriées, aux bons endroits, en temps opportun, minimisant les coûts à l'échelle du système pour répondre au niveau de service et aux exigences des clients. Le but de ce livre était d'étudier le rôle de l'application des principes de gestion de la qualité totale (TQM) sur l'amélioration des pratiques de la chaîne d'approvisionnement dans Nile Paints Company. Pour atteindre les objectifs de l'étude, une approche descriptive a été utilisée à l'aide d'un questionnaire composé de (24) éléments. Les données ont été recueillies auprès de 30 participants en utilisant une technique d'échantillonnage aléatoire, et les hypothèses ont été testées à l'aide du programme Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS), où un ensemble de méthodes statistiques a été utilisé pour l'analyse telles que chi squire, pourcentage, graphiques. Les résultats de cette étude ont montré que les dirigeants de Nile Paints Company s'engagent à appliquer les principes de gestion totale de la qualité. En outre, les résultats ont révélé qu'il existe une relation positive et significative entre les principes de gestion de la qualité totale et les pratiques de la chaîne d'approvisionnement.
