Synopsis
L'agriculture durable est considérée comme la gestion réussie des ressources pour l'agriculture afin de satisfaire les besoins humains changeants tout en maintenant ou en améliorant la qualité de l'environnement et en préservant les ressources naturelles. L'Asie reste le principal centre de production et de consommation de riz. Ce livre explore les facteurs qui ont contribué à la durabilité de la production de riz au cours des huit ou neuf mille ans pour lesquels le riz a été produit et examine la durabilité économique, sociale et écologique de la riziculture au niveau du district et de la ferme. La durabilité est le maintien ou l'amélioration des niveaux de production et la protection des ressources naturelles, dans un contexte de viabilité économique, d'acceptabilité sociale et d'adaptabilité écologique.
