Synopsis
Pulses constitute an integral part of Indian Agriculture as they enrich human diet and improve soil fertility helping for high yields from succeeding crops. Some pulse crops like Gram, Pigeonpoea, Urdbean, Moongbean, & Lobia, etc. are fed to animals as green fodder. The pulses are an integral part of the cropping system of the farmers all over the country because these crops fit well in crop rotation and crop mixtures but unfortunately the Indian farmers suffering from the insect pests problem in pulse crops due to extensive cultivation which is reduce the economic status of the farmer as well as net benefit from last few decades. Therefore, it is very much necessary to overcome with this problem.
