There is a wide gap between the harvested milk (local supply) and demand in Nigeria, which has resulted in a substantial importation of milk. One reason for the low domestic production is the low adoption rate of improved dairy management practices which could improve dairy farmers’ output and income with the resultant effect of poverty reduction. Thus the book examined the adoption of improved dairy management practice in relation to the poverty level of dairy farmers in Oyo state, Nigeria. The data used were generated from a survey involving 180 dairy farming households randomly selected using multistage sampling technique. Three out of the ten local governments (Saki west, Saki east and Iseyin) were randomly selected, three wards (Ago amodu, Ado awaye and Sepeteri Bapon) were selected each from the three local governments, ten villages (Aba Panu, Budo Banki, Aagba, Aboriso, Amolegbe, Wasinmi, Obanase, Agbongbo, Abadawaki and Elewuodo) were randomly selected from the wards, eighteen dairy farmers were selected from each village and a total of a hundred and eighty respondents were interviewed. The study was carried out using descriptive statistics.
