Synopsis
Le réseau mobile ad hoc (MANET) est utilisé pour établir la connectivité entre les nœuds mobiles sans fil dans les situations où l'infrastructure de communication n'est pas présente. Un MANET peut être interconnecté à l'Internet filaire via des passerelles intermédiaires, résultant en un réseau filaire hétérogène appelé Integrated Internet-MANET (IIM). L'architecture du futur réseau 5G est envisagée comme une fusion hétérogène des réseaux filaires et sans fil existants. L'Internet-MANET intégré est une architecture candidate pour réaliser les scénarios d'utilisation du réseau 5G. Dans ce livre, des protocoles de découverte de passerelle efficaces sont proposés, ce qui entraîne une découverte efficace de passerelle et une sélection de passerelle dans IIM.
