Synopsis

For the past few years, IT organizations are developing several maturity models to satisfy their ever-growing criteria. One of the models that have emerged from the discussion and the research is the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). CMMI model constitutes a set of practices developed by the Software Engineering Institute. The CMMI model focuses on the improvement of the service delivery process of a company, especially in the software industry. This maturity model has been hypothetically developed with performance enhancement applications in the software industry. Agile software development methods provide support for a broad range of software development life cycle. Some of the agile methods of development focus on practices such as agile modeling and pragmatic programming. Others focus on workflow such as Kanban, and Scrum.
