Ecofeminism is an umbrella term which cannot be reduced to an essentialist drama which is frozen at one caricatured historical moment .It has roots in the complex relations of power and can serve as a powerful agent of change for the burning issues of environmental concern like global warming and climate change. It can bridge the disconnect between theory and practice. The book uncovers the history of ecofeminist theory.
