Synopsis
This book is aimed at investigating analytically and experimentally the horizontal well annulus cement flow distribution using casing pipes, liners and casing shoes with multi-blades, multi-pads and multi-studs options. The objective of the study is to eliminate the problems associated with improper centering of conventional casing pipes in horizontal wellbore cementation.This experimental evidence clearly indicates that the use of the design concept will dramatically enhance mud displacement efficiency in cementing operations and achieve adequate cement bonding in horizontal wellbores.
