Interrelationship of Personality Traits, Affective Experience and Well-being of Adoscents.Personality features are associated with individual differences in daily emotional life such as negative and positive affectivity, affect variability and affect reactivity. Neuroticism is strongly associated with higher negative affect and greater variability in the affect and extroversion is strongly associated with greater positive affect with less variability in the affective experience.Positive daily events buffered the effect of negative daily events on negative affect for individuals low in neuroticism and individuals high in extra version. Individuals whose average affective experience was more unpleasant, would be more variable than whose affective experience was more pleasant.Greater variability in positive emotion should also relate to worst psychological health.
