Youth account for 35.4% of Kenya’s population with 1,000,000 entering the labor market annually (Kenya Country Report on Youth Employment, 2014). It is estimated that 64% of unemployed Kenyans are youth with majority having moved away from rural Kenya and living in urban areas in Kenya’s cities and towns.
