Parmi les maladies bactériennes infectant les cultures de tomates et de pommes de terre, le flétrissement bactérien causé par Ralstonia solanacearum (Smith) Yabuuchi, est l'une des maladies les plus destructrices causant des pertes qualitatives et quantitatives responsables. Par conséquent, présentez des recherches sur R. solanacearum avec les objectifs à savoir : enquête, symptomatologie, pathogénicité, variabilité culturelle, morphologique, biochimique et moléculaire parmi les isolats de R. solanacearum, effet des agents de contrôle biologique, substance semblable à la bactériocine, huiles essentielles, chitosane et induire des composés de résistance sur la croissance de R. solanacearum. Efficacité des traitements mentionnés ci-dessus et certaines stratégies de gestion intégrée des maladies ont été entreprises au cours de la période 2015-2016 à 2016-2017 en Égypte.
