Synopsis
Les pousse-pousse sont considérés comme instables et susceptibles de causer des accidents dus à une bosse sur la route ou à des vitesses trop rapides causées par les conducteurs. En outre, l'absence de portes signifie que les occupants pourraient être jetés sur la route, avec le potentiel de blessures graves, même à basse vitesse. Généralement, les véhicules à moteur à essence à deux temps sont une source majeure de pollution de l'air par leurs émissions de fumée épaisses. Deux propositions de solution simple immédiate qui incluent l'utilisation d'un mélange correct d'huile lubrifiante pour le carburant et l'entretien préventif et correctif régulier du véhicule amélioreront la qualité de l'air et augmenteront la durée de vie des véhicules. Un véhicule de pousse-pousse Bajaj a été testé sous des charges variables et cinq rapports de mélange huile-carburant différents allant de 2 % à 12,5 %. Trois lectures de chaque expérience ont été effectuées et les valeurs moyennes ont été extraites. Il a été constaté que les rapports de mélange huile-carburant qui se situent entre 2 % et 5 % sont les rapports les plus appropriés qui pourraient être utilisés. Ces rapports sont recommandés car ils donnent au moteur du véhicule une accélération plus élevée, une durée de vie plus longue, divergent les intervalles de la période de maintenance de révision et qu'ils causent moins d'impact sur l'environnement.
