The year 2013, confronted with Human-Tiger conflict on kind of shocking manner in Geetanagar VDC. Conflict went to such extend that the locals holded the feelings of retaliation killing of tiger as they went through human casualties and injury. Therefore, this study was conducted with the keen intention of exploring Human-Tiger Conflict, its cases, causes, measures implemented, and status of tiger population distribution as well as people perception regarding tiger. This research gives an opinion of the tiger conservation perceptions and tolerance level of locals to human losses along with roles of stakeholders in tiger conservation.

Samridhi Kharel is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation Officer - FECOFUN, Hariyo Ban Project with Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry (2014). She participated in several different workshops, Meeting of Nature Conservation National Strategic Framework for Sustainable Development, Meeting of Forest and Farm Facility and Wetland Project.
