Synopsis

Various factors that affect the efficacy of an irrigant solution are volume of irrigant used, concentration of irrigant, frequency of irrigation, temperature of irrigant, length and time of intracanal contact, gauze of irrigating needle, depth of penetration, diameter of prepared canal, age of irrigating solutions etc.
