In the recent decade, a great number of migrant workers from the neighbouring countries of Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos including their children have moved to Thailand. Among them, migrants from Myanmar is the largest group of migrants, as they move from various reasons such as political and armed conflict or extreme poverty as well as for economic reasons. Since then, international NGOs and aid agencies, and local community based organizations along with the Thai government have put efforts and invested significant resources to address the pressing issues of health, employment, education, and electrification for rural communities. This study explored how NGOs implement for migrants to access education and health care in Mae Sot. The research is qualitative study and the secondary literature review because different types of data need to be studied in detail to answer the research questions regarding the barriers of migrants, how NGOs in Mae Sot contribute to overcome these barriers, their main challenges in implementing these and sustainability of these services.
