Synopsis

Oral health is a state of being free from chronic mouth and facial pain, oral and throat cancer,oral sores, birth defects periodontal diseases, tooth decay and loss, and other diseases and disorders that affect the oral cavity. This book assessed the knowledge, attitude and practice of oral health among female students in King Khalid University, Abha, King Saudi Arabia. Students were selected randomly to participate in the study by fulfill standardized data collection sheet "Questionnaire", which has been cleaned, coded and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science SPSS version 20, also the Microsoft excel. In the conclusion the overall knowledge, practice and attitude towards dental health was good, but more awareness sessions should be conducted in the university, as there are medical field students and they should be fully aware so they can transfer the knowledge to others in their communities.

PhD in healthcare management headway University USA, Membership of Faculty of Dentistry- Royal College of Dentistry of Ireland, Medical doctorate in dental public health, Sudan Medical Specialization Board.
