The use of supplementary cementitious materials in concrete is a new and innovative use in technology. Concrete made using various types of industrial waste can help to reduce environmental problems. In the construction industry around the world, the use of pozzolanic materials in concrete is increasing to reduce CO2 emissions into the environment and reduce energy consumption. In this experimental investigation low-cost pervious concrete (LCPC) cast with supplementary cement materials (SCM) such as Fly Ash (FA) and Metakaolin (MK).Cement was partially replaced by Fly Ash and Metakaolin in the range of 0 percent, 5 percent, 10 percent, 15 percent and 20 percent by cement weight for 0.35 water/cement ratio. Cement has been partially replaced by the combination of Metakaolin and Fly ash (MK: FA) in various three proportions accordingly in range of 5:15, 10:10, and 15:5 by weight of cement. For all mix water/cement ratio was 0.35. The Infiltration rate test, density, void ratio, and compression test were carried out. It was concluded after the experiment that the combination of metakaolin and fly ash gives good compressive strength with cost-effectiveness.
