Caring of the old age people especially physically challenged / elderly people, is an important trait that every human being must have. Most of the old age people prefers walking rather than sitting in one place from dawn to dusk. Due to their aging / inability moving from one place to another place becomes a dream. They may need an accompanying person to take care of them. But getting a person to assist them becomes an impossible task. So in this project, a vehicle has been designed with feature of Gesture and voice recognition modules to Control vehicle by the old age people directly. It uses accelerometer to sense the movement of hand and voice of command for controlling the vehicle. This project is divided into two parts transmitter device and receiver device. The sensor will record the movement of hand and voice of command in a specific direction which will result in the motion of the vehicle in the respective directions. The vehicle, the accelerometer and voice recognition module are connected wirelessly through radio waves. User can interact with the robot in a more friendly way due to the wireless communication. We can control the vehicle using accelerometer sensors.
