The shear study using reinforced or protruded concrete has particularities that aim at minimizing the propagation of cracks, avoiding deleterious reactions in the concrete. In this sense, it is necessary to analyze the shear behavior of reinforced concrete beams, with reinforcement of glass and polyester microfibers for each type of the mentioned in volumetric fractions, comparing them with the behavior of fiberless concrete beams, aiming at their application in structural elements. In order to meet the proposal of this research, the methodology was based on the concreting of the beams, being: one of reference without addition of fibers and 6 (six) with additions of glass and polyester microfibers, being 3 (three) for each one of the mentioned. It can be stated that glass and polyester microfibers have shown signs that their uses can be used as partial replacement of transverse reinforcement, contribution to stability in relation to the post peak or post-cracking; contribution to the gain of resistance. Therefore, the use of microfibers as fibrous reinforcement can be used as an efficiency in the control and as well as an improvement of shear performance in structural concrete.
