Cultivation of large seeded kabuli chickpeas in India is gaining importance due to premium price offered compared to desi types. Very large (≥ 50 g test weight) kabulis are being sold at about three times the price of medium seeded (25 g test weight) types. so to meet the market preference for large and very large seeded types and also to identify extra- large seeded kabulis, the present investigation was undertaken.
