The watershed development programmes is the basic need for integrated and management of the land and water resources which provide life support for rural communities. There are several watershed programmes like DPAP National Watershed Development Programme the Desert Development Programme, Hariyali etc. However, there is no coordination between the different agencies involved in watershed programme in Kurnool District.
