Synopsis

Structures vibrate during an earthquake. The use of structural control systems causes vibrations created in the structure to be controlled and neutralized. Braces are among the most common and widely used structural control systems that are constantly evolving and evolving. In the present study, the seismic performance of steel structures was evaluated with 10 types of bracing systems (Diagonal, X, V, Chevron, Eccentric, K, Diagonal Eccentric, Gate, Knee and Zipper). The seismic performance of the structure has been evaluated in different sections including base shear force, floor displacement, force, stress, etc.
