According to the teachings of Marx and Engels, socialism is the first phase of communism, in Soviet Russia, when socialism was elevated to the state level, in the economic sphere of society there are three main stages of development: "military communism" (1918-1921), a new economic policy - nap (1921-1929) and planned economy (1929-1990). In the early 90s, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the country was thrown into "wild capitalism" with its outdated Adam Smith era liberalism and the "invisible hand of the market", which should have put everything in place, but in reality the entire economy was squandered "suddenly" by the emerging oligarchs. Lenin was a supporter of Marx's economic theory, which was supplemented by the theory of imperialism and the associated theory of socialist revolution in countries where the proletariat (working class) is not in the majority. He believed that under socialism, all production could become one big factory. Lenin emphasized the aggravation of internal and external contradictions of capitalism at the stage of imperialism.
