The word "risk" itself has ancient roots - in the Old Italian translation "гіѕісаге" means "to dare". The history of the formation of the concept of "risk" is largely related to the human attitude to the future.The industrial revolution and the expansion of the fields of human activity have significantly increased the spheres of risk manifestation and at the same time have formed the attitude to the future as partly predictable state of the world. Thus, the theory of industrial risk assessment has been developed on the basis of economic theories and is a special case of economic risk.
