Synopsis

The research consisted of an application of exercises with their corresponding methodology for the training of the technique, in school athletes of hammer throwing female of the School of Sport Initiation (EIDE) "Martyrs of Barbados", province of Havana. This application contributed to the improvement of the technique of these hammer throwers with a view to increasing their technical performance. For this purpose, a measurement was carried out in mesocycles 3 and 9 with direct and indirect measurements to evaluate the behavior of the technique and to give empirical validity to these exercises. The idea of undertaking this work arises as a consequence of the technical deficiencies found in the athletes during the execution of the competitive movement of the discipline in the 2013 National School Games. Therefore, the study contributed to direct the potential of these athletes to increase the quality of the technical execution, with a better protection to the health that makes possible a more rational use of the available resources for the sport practice.
