Pedagogical testing as a means of improving the quality of professional training in higher education serves as a tool to ensure systematic monitoring and objective assessment of the level of professional preparedness of students, aimed at improving the efficiency of the educational process in higher education, and, ultimately, the quality of professional training of students. Based on the theoretical analysis and results of experimental work the book considers the theoretical-methodological and organizational-methodological basis for the use of testing in the professional training of teachers at the university. The author's model of improving the quality of professional training of students by means of pedagogical testing is presented and the testing technology is shown - from test task development as a component of the test to the processing procedure of the results. The monograph is intended for teachers, postgraduate students and specialists in professional training.
