L'unicit� de la composition cognitive des personnes atteintes du syndrome de Down contribuera � une meilleure compr�hension des forces et des d�ficiences sp�cifiques de cette population, ainsi qu'� l'�laboration de programmes �ducatifs plus efficaces qui leur conviennent (Grouios et Ypsilanti; G�n�tique et �tiologie du syndrome de Down; Edit� par: Subrata Dey; 2011). La pr�sente �tude est con�ue pour mettre en �vidence les forces, les limites et la relation entre les diff�rents aspects intellectuels des enfants atteints du syndrome de Down ayant une d�ficience intellectuelle l�g�re. Les professionnels de la r�adaptation et les �ducateurs sp�cialis�s peuvent utiliser les contributions de cette �tude pour d�velopper les interventions et les programmes de formation appropri�s, afin d'am�liorer la qualit� de vie des personnes handicap�es.
