Book is written on the topic “Problems of the main aspects of the theory of evidence in the civil process of Latvia”. The book may be interesting to students, undergraduates, doctoral students in the study of law disciplines of civil procedural law, it is important to note the necessary preliminary knowledge of the theory of law. The book presents the goals that form students' knowledge of evidence, civil procedure, Latvian Civil Procedure Law (CPL), means of evidence in civil procedure and electronic evidence. The important conceptual properties of evidence and their practical application in the activities of the judiciary are determined. The results for the readers are the acquired skill in the correct use of civil procedure terminology. The author explores the work of the scientists of Latvian and foreign processists. Since studied issues are not considered at the theoretical level worldwide and legislative gaps also exist, the author conducted a comparative legal analysis. A comparative legal analysis was conducted between the common and continental legal systems.
