Synopsis

In Modern Technology where the growth of networks is increasing rapidly. The growing need to distribute applications across multiple networks with high capacity and high-performance intermediate switching nodes and networks. The term routing is used for transferring a packet from one device and sending it through a network to another device on a different network. In another way how router communicates with each other by spreading information. Routing Protocols play an important role in computer network infrastructure as it is used to transmit packets over a network, special care has been given to routing protocols with build-in Security constraints. There are various types of routing protocols being used widely. Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Routing Information Protocol (RIP), and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF). In this project, we have analyzed and simulated a proposed wired Local Area Network using different routing protocols. Therefore configuration of these different routing protocols is done using the CISCO packet tracer simulator.
