Nowadays, the HVDC is being widely used all around the world. Due to the advancement of power electronics technology, HVDC technology utilizes voltage source converters (VSC) and this technology is commercially available as “HVDC Light” or HVDCPLUS (Power Link Universal Systems). In this book, an overview of the HVDC system has been presented. Also, the VSC-HVDC using different intelligent controllers have been described with simulation results.
