Synopsis

This book is continuation of the Vol. 1, original book of the author in this area. High Order Methods Applied to Reactive Reentry Flows was the first book published by this author involving high resolution methods. Techniques like MUSCL, ENO and WENO were largely studied and applied. The present book involves the link among the following author’s themes: Hypersonic Reactive Flow Simulations in Two-Dimensions, Hypersonic Reactive Flow Simulations in Entry Conditions (Mars atmosphere), Turbulent Flow Simulations in 2D, and Spectral Methods in 2D. As the union of these diferents areas, the present author aims profund and realistic simulations of the Earth atmosphere flowfield at the reentry conditions and of the Martian atmosphere at entry conditions. The objective of the present author is to make a global simulation involving the interesting areas of reactive flow plus turbulence flow and plus magnetic actuation at reentry conditions.
