The high utilizing of renewable energy sources can be harnessed by using these energy storage systems. This book shows the role of super capacitor in DC Microgrid to be stable under partial shading issue. For studying the effect of adding super capacitor, the microgrid system is simulated with and even without super capacitor. The fluctuations of the DC link bus voltage of the microgrid is reduced as a result of integration with super capacitor unit. The simulation results approve that super capacitor improve the DC microgrid stability.
