Synopsis
Multiprocessor architecture is a computer system consisting of at least two central processing units (CPUs) that share full access to a common RAM. There are two types of multiprocessors: shared memory multiprocessor and distributed memory multiprocessor. The main purpose of multiprocessor systems is to increase system execution speed and support increasing system complexity.
