Mankind knows textiles by generations. On a broad outlook it appears that textiles have no application other than apparel purposes. But as a matter of fact, there are non-apparel uses of textiles such as technical applications. Global population growth and rising living standards have caused an increase in textile wastes. A World Bank study has predicted a 70% global increase in textile hard waste by 2025, which means that the expected waste volume will rise from today’s 1.3 billion tone’s to 2.2 billion tones’ per year. Thus a rapid and simple method for treating with textile waste is badly needed. This book will cover this point.
