The book presents the results aimed at the development of proton carbon catalysts based on stone raw materials (apricot kernel, walnut shells), carboxymethylated rapeseed straw and hemp bark, sorghum (bagasse) processing waste and industrial Aquacarb coal. Samples of carbon materials - stable, active and selective solid acid catalysts were obtained. Thecatalytic activity of the obtained materials in the starch hydrolysis process was studied. Quantitative characteristics of the catalytic activity of the new carbon materials were determined. The book is of interest for researchers interested in the synthesis of catalysts and processes of biomaterials conversion.
