Nowadays, Vehicle to grid (V2G) technology has gained a lot of interest as an increasing number of electric vehicles hit the market. As a specialized electricity load, the electric vehicle (EV) can be employed as a mobile storage device to assist in load balancing in the power grid and to provide a platform for the coordination of renewable energy sources. The management solutions for V2G, as well as the major challenges they raise, such as battery wear, bidirectional chargers, and charging stations, are comprehensively examined via centralized control, autonomous control, and battery management strategies. In this book, detailed analysis has been done for a V2G system. This book will be very useful for future researchers who has interest in EV systems.
