The objective of this work was to elaborate an innovation project management routine that would allow the industrialization of civil construction. The work is justified by the significant delay of the civil industry to the era of mass production developed by the engineer Henry Ford in 1913, considered one of the greatest technological innovations of contemporary society. The method adopted was action research and participant research. Hundreds of people were involved in the project, among experts and professionals working in the civil construction market. The results present a reference model for managing innovation projects for the industrialization of the civil construction, which prescribes the main items to be observed in project management, in the analysis of economic viability and in the evolutionary evaluation of the civil construction process, pondering the power of the different techniques regarding innovation to increase productivity, economy and production intensification, aiming at approximation to the Fordist production system, although, also considering the legacy of the lean production system developed by Toyota.
