A quasi-experimental study of therapeutic intervention type was carried out with the aim of comparing the use of neoadjuvant polychemotherapy at standard dose versus dense dose with a sample of 44 patients attended at the Oncological Provincial Teaching Hospital of Camagüey from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2016. The aforementioned sample was divided into two groups: 1 group of 21 women to whom the dense dose was applied and another group of 23 women to whom the standard dose was applied. The data obtained were collected in a survey with the following variables: age group, stage of the disease, results of the application of both doses with the AC and TX scheme, tumor response and adverse effects. The most relevant results were found to be: greater frequency of women between 40 and 49 years of age, in stage III A of the disease and in general it was demonstrated that with the application of the dense dose, with the AC and TX scheme, fewer treatment cycles were used, fewer patients regressed and no serious adverse reactions were obtained as with the standard dose.
