Synopsis

The topic prepared for his defense of his doctoral thesis in medicine (state diploma) whose title was: "Knowledge, attitudes and practices of students of the University Ouaga 2 in sexual and reproductive health. As a reminder, Ouaga 2 University was renamed Thomas Sankara University in honor of the father of the Burkinabe revolution and is the second largest university in the country's capital. This study was conducted with the aim of studying the knowledge, attitudes and practices in terms of sexuality, contraception and STIs of the university's students. So from May 16 to 25, 2018 a mixed CAP study (qualitative and quantitative) with analytical purpose was conducted at UO2 with 384 students .It was a descriptive cross-sectional study. Data collection was done using a self-administered questionnaire. Data analysis was done by master sheet and Excel software for graphing. The information was kept in textual corpus in written form. As a result we have a sex ratio of 1,3. The average age was between 20 and 24 years.
