Synopsis

Chick Pea which is called Desi Chana in Gujarati,common plant of Saurashtra region. Cicer plant is checked to grow at various dilutions of marine water. seeds were taken and checked for viability test and soil bags were prepared for observation of germination and growth pattern. From the result which was derived, it is concluded that Cicer ariteinum can survive by providing diluted content of marine water also. So it will be helpful for the deser or semi desert area peoples who are facing drought problems.
